HoneyBalm

Late 19th century researchers discovered that honey has natural antibacterial qualities. Honey protects the body against damage caused by bacteria. Some honeys also boost production of special cells that can repair tissue damage by infection. The honey has an antibacterial and antifungal effect. It thus ensures better tissue regeneration and reduces the formation of scar tissue. In addition to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, honey enhances the wound healing process.

The treatment of human wounds is recommended as follows:

Clean the wound thoroughly. Put the HoneyBalm directly on the wound, if possible, a plaster over and leave overnight. Repeat at own choice.

The treatment of animal wounds/cuts/scrapes/rashes is recommended as follows:

Clean the wound thoroughly with an antiseptic. Put the cream directly on the wound. Repeat daily. Or until the skin looks “calmed” or wound/area starts to look healed.

The treatment of mud fever is recommended as follows:

Wash the affected area with an antiseptic shampoo. This is cleansing and nurturing. Make sure that any stuck scabs are not dislodged, as this can cause new wounds. Dry the leg well. Then apply the HoneyBalm. It is also recommended to properly disinfect the brushes that are used (especially the brushes that are used on the legs) with, for example, Dettol/water mix. This is to prevent contamination of other legs, or new contamination of the recovering leg.

To prevent mud fever, you could rub the pastern cavities of the horse with HoneyBalm, because of the oily composition, the ointment also stays in place in a wet environment. HoneyBalm protects and purifies irritated skin.

HoneyBalm contains high quality beeswax, Honey, and oil. Created due to correct dosage and processing of all and endorse optimal healing capacity.
